FOR TOMORROW (THURSDAY)

VIDEO

  • Bring 2 copies. One in a clean, virus-free USB, and another in a CD with your names and group number
  • For the file name: Ec102D_GroupNumber. Ex: Ec102D_Group1
  • Any file format will do as long as it can be played by either VLC or Windows Media Player (or Quicktime)
  • HOY DAPAT MAGANDA YAN HA.
STOCK INVESTMENT
  • Check price (printed/released) as of May 18 (this would be the closing price or weighted ave from May 17)
  • Multiply the number of stocks you initially bought with the new price
  • To get the number of stock you initially bought (which hay nako you should have indicated in your index card long ago, as such I’ll deduct points from those who were not able to write their initial investments properly), divide P1M by the April 12 price of your stock
  • The excess from P1M is your earnings
  • This is a graded activity so write your answers properly.
QUIZ
  • The quiz tomorrow is a surprise quiz (pero announced haha)
  • The topic is…anything under the sun.
  • As such, you don’t need to study 🙂
  • Bring 2 index cards for signing tomorrow. Write your name on it (surname/nickname only to save space).
FINAL EXAM
The schedule is posted below.
We will follow the time on MY clock. We’ll synchronize time tomorrow.
Please be at the department ONLY 10-15 minutes before your time. I’ll ask ate Sai to shoo away those who come too early. BELAT. Don’t crowd the dept, seriously. If you wannaED be there super early, wait outside.
  • The time starts at exactly the schedule you signed up for. So, if you come in late, no extensions will be given. You’ll have less time to explain.
  • The ideal time allotment is this: 8 minutes for your explanation, 2 minutes for question and answer or whatever, 2 minutes buffer for entry/exit of students. As such, each time slot is 12 minutes.
  • The 8-minute allotted time is a MAXIMUM. This means that you may finish earlier if you think that your explanation is already worth an A.
  • As soon as you stop talking (or you tell me you’re done explaining), I’ll start asking questions.
  • I have the discretion to max out your time (meaning I’ll keep asking questions until your time is up) if you finish explaining early and I feel like that explanation is not yet enough to give you a decent grade.
  • Bring your index cards. Only index cards with my signature will be allowed. NO SHARING OF INDEX CARDS.
  • Again, try to work and study in groups. I tell you, it works.
  • Also, study everything. Remember Murphy’s Law.
  • HOY, DON’T BRING MILK TEA OR WAFFLES!!! BRIBERY!!! HAHAHAHA
  • Btw, no class on Friday! Cos it’s fun fun fun
SCHEDULE
Since this is posted, if you don’t arrive on time, not my fault.
IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS WITH ANYTHING, PLEASE E-MAIL ME OR COMMENT HERE. 😀

Tip: Study well. Bring your own calculators.

Hi guys, by request of one of your classmates, I’m posting the ppt early. I post ppts during the weekends to discourage you from talking/sleeping/not listening in class.

I used a different book for the topic on Taxation, so might as well post it. I hope you don’t make this an excuse for not listening and NOT TAKING DOWN NOTES in class. It is clearly written in the syllabus that I encourage you to take down notes.
